What made you start MO.SS?
I started this as a method of self reflection and to share openly what I'm experiencing. As I've gotten older, I've come to realize life is complex enough as it is, I shouldn't work so hard to make it even MORE complicated. Read more on our About page.
How are your products packaged?
To reduce our environmental footprint all soaps are packaged plastic-free. The order is minimally wrapped with recycled craft paper and tied together with a hemp twine. When needed, we use scrunched up paper for additional padding in the box. All our packaging is made out of recycled paper. Please recycle or compost as possible depending on your neighborhood's garbage disposal practices.
How did you learn to make soaps?
I'm self taught. There are a lot of amazing resources on the web nowadays and great books to refer to. Youtube also has a bunch of hidden gems!
How do I store my soaps & natural skincare products?
All handmade products are are ideally stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
The soaps do not expire, but are ideally used within 3-6 months of purchase. Although the soaps will never go bad, due to the natural ingredients (and no preservatives) the effectiveness of the ingredients will diminish over time, the color may change and the scents will fade.

All other skincare products should be used within 24 months of purchase.
None of the products contain preservatives or chemical fillers so longevity of the product may vary.
Where do you ship?
Currently we offer shipping across Canada & USA only for now with the exception of Newfoundland/Labrador, Northwest Territories and the Yukon territory.
How much does shipping cost?
All prices listed are in $CAD.

Shipping is flat rate $12.99 for New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec and Ontario
Shipping is flat rate $15.99 for Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan.
Shipping is flat rate of 13.99 across all USA.

Shipping is FREE on all orders over $100.

However, if you are in the Laurentiens, QC, Canada area - a pick up could be arranged. Please e-mail me at yaya@livemoss.ca ahead of placing your order.
What's your refund policy?
Due to the nature of the products, returns or exchanges are not accepted. All sales are final.
If the incorrect product was shipped to you, please take a picture of the shipment upon reception and contact us immediately so we can send you the right items right away!
We are not responsible for damages incurred during shipping and transportation.
